Located in South Central Idaho on the scenic “Thousands Springs” highway 30, just west of Twin Falls, Buhl was platted in 1905 and founded in 1906. The location qualified as a village two years later and today, Buhl is the second-largest town in Twin Falls County with a population of over 4,000.

In 1906, the Twin Falls Investment Company sold lots at Broadway and Main Street for $1,750 each.
